Hey, is it possible in tib sun to make something like a mobile quake tank, working on the mobile emp princables, so you deploy it, and it effects every but its self?

unfortunately, the mobile EMP tank's charge logic only exists in Firestorm.

According to thedvd, if u have patch 2.03 and transfer the MOBEMP Code from the firstrm.ini to the rules.ini it works fine without firestorm

however im yet to test this myself, im sure thedvd is correct

why would adding a quake tank affect the EMP Tank?

well, i know the EMP tank is 2 vehicles and uses a place holder for the weapon, thats why it probley would effect it.

so do you want to use Mobile EMP Tank logic for the Quake Tank?

I don't know if you can have multiple units use the mobile EMP tank logic or not. In RA2 only one unit can use IFV logic, but that doesn't neccesarily mean anything.

you can't have more than 1 (2) units use the mobile emp logic. cuz the game doesn't know which one to use, if more than 2 have ISmobileEMP=yes. and yes i'm sure i'm correct on transferring the code to rules.ini and get it to work, ifyou have version 2.03. (or even 2.0, but that IS firestorm)

i know something like a quake tank is easily done on ra2, cuz you can set deploy weapons, but there isnt anything like it on tib sun, other than the Mobile EMP, so i just wondered if its possible, but i guess it aint then...dam

it's possible but
1) would look pretty fake
2) you would lose the MEMP

wouldn't it be cool if the "quake" tank could deploy, like the Mobile EMP, and when it deploys drill a hole into the ground and send a sonic charge down into the ground, causing an earthquake in the surrounding area! It could take down health of all units/structures (friendly or foe) within a certain radius by a certain percent, and it could even shake the screen (using the screen shaking logic... Or is that just for explosions? We could always give it an invisible explosion anim that would do that....or something...)

I'm just rambling tho Wink.

It's all impossible in TS, FM... the screenshake logic only works with ioncannon as well.
