I've made a primitive mission to learn the basics, but the game crashes before I see the map. The player would controll a new side I've added to the game. For the first time I thought the mod has problems, but I've tested the new side in skirmish and everything works 100% fine. I'm new in this so I don't know what should I check. I need somebody's help who is good at single player missions.

First test your mission using an existing side... then tell us some more, like exactly WHEN does it crash (what text is the loading screen displaying)

If it crashes in the 6th message, try removing all objects that are outside the limits of the map (marked by a red line).

I tried to test it with NOD. Same problem, the game crashes at the 7th line: Deploying forces to combat zone. Any other ideas?

GDI missions should be played on GDI side and vice versa.

It supposed to be a third side mission, but I've changed it to NOD. GDI is the enemy.

it might have to do with starting units. Just make sure your new side actually has units that require the techlevel your mission uses. Try setting the E1 techlevel to 2, then start a skirmish on techlevel 1... CRASH
