I think Nods infantry is too vulnerable to attack and a lot of my troops die
or end up missing in action...

I think that it should be possible to wear Tiberium resistant armor or heal on Tiberium?
I know infantry can be overpowered easily but I'd like to see visceroids in GDI bases not mine.

I know Nods best shot is the powerful cyborgs and tachyon cyborg
but can infantry so powerful that beats GDI?

Or does that dangerously unbalance the game?

Nod already has Cyborgs, they don't need stronger basic infantry.

The Nod infantry is better used as early scouts and base defense. Not as an offensive force. For offenses the Cyborgs are indeed a better option.
Or micromanage the infantry well and simply avoid running over tiberium.
Tiberiumproof infantry would also make the cyborgs less special.

Balance can't be designed per singleplayer experience alone and ideas of all Nod infantry say healing in tiberium or immunity would allow Nod infantry mass in mining fields too much preventing GDI from mining as harvesters get blown up...

Any GDI infantry coming to engage would be at clear disadvantage (tiberium fields damage them + incoming fire) and should there be cyborgs too, GDI infantry is severely outmatched.

Multiplayer wise I'd rethink. Tiberium immunity should be limited to special units like cyborgs/infector.
