ion storm lightning projectile ?

Hyper (i think) once wrote that game generates random laser effect for Ion storm "lightnings"

and I'm not asking about making superweapon
but rather if anyone managed to find a way to use it as a projectile draw
just like RA2 has for their Tesla tower zaps

just like we can use Obelisk lasers and Railgun lasers
can it be made to use Ion Storm ones ?

- again just for projectile DRAW, not invoking the storm

That's not possible.
Beside the actual ion storm, only map trigger can create an IS lightning bolt on a specific cell.

For a weapon you have to use the SHP workaround (screenshot -> cut out bolt-> SHP anim).
