AttachEffect.Animation does not seem to work well if the animation spawns debris (ie meteor/bouncer)... the game will never consider the animation to have "ended" and will not replay it on an affected target because it considers it to be still active. So, it will only ever play once, regardless of how long the AE itself lasts on the object. Can anyone confirm this?

IsMeteor/Bouncer expire (at least partially) independent of animation length and looping settings (AFAIK AE animations just have LoopCount=-1 forced on them). If your goal is to spawn debris using Spawns, add the animation to a dummy AE animation as TrailerAnim and adjust TrailerSeperation to control frequency.

Yeah depends what the goal was but in any case, putting debris anim directly into AE is no go for fundamental reason how debris works (it can't loop, it is always one shot) thus you have to use normal anim regardless be it intermediate step or not.

Well it wasn't the debris itself, it was the debris spawner... but I think code-wise that's not a difference, since both are Bouncer or IsMeteor...

Well, I tried Starkku's method and everything is working just fine now.

Thank you everybody!

No difference as  what makes debris is exactly that...
Bouncer/IsMeteor, the fact you were using spawns already said that you are using debris anim regardless as spawns is not respected in normal anim.
