Hi, first post. I'm new to the TS modding community, so forgive me if the answer is obvious.

I have toyed around a little bit with the rules.ini, adding a few new units and increases the AI's base defenses. Unfortunately, the GDI AI will not produce any units, and instead build nothing but component towers without any Vulcan Cannons, RPG's, etc. What part of the rules.ini code can fix this?

An alternative fix you can apply if you want the AI to be able to build your new defensive structure, is to look for WallTower=GACTWR and to then change it to WallTower=GAPOWRUP or any other upgrade that the AI is able to build early in the game.

The downside of this fix is that component towers will no longer automatically connect to walls and they also can't be placed on top of walls to automatically replace them anymore, but the upside is that the GDI AI will be perfectly able to build any kind of defensive structure without requiring them to be an upgrade for the component tower.
