So about a year ago, I took a rather expensive and intensive dive into Warhammer 40,000. I was introduced to some guys who had been playing for years (4th edition) and I got to really enjoy the casual atmosphere designed for the game. This is one of the major reasons I'm never around or working on CnC: Final War. However, I've never forgotten the impact that Command and Conquer has had on my life. I practically lived and breathed CnC for my teenage years, and while in a local hobby shop I was inspired to pay homage to my strategy roots. They're a work in progress, as I've got to add the pod structures and craft up the foundation but I thought I'd show off my tiberium 'crystals' I have painted up. As always, I'm open to constructive criticism but have a firm idea of where I want these guys to go as a finished product.

The Nids would proly absorb it into their genes, while the Dark Eldar keep on pillaging, like psycho lean vikings with super tech, high on bathsalts and 'shrooms and peyote, and the souls of their fallen enemies..

Hmm, Tiberium and the Scrin, in the WH40K setting? You could do two galaxies, the scrin had already screwed up with GDI and Nod in the other galaxy on that planet (also called Earth), but in the WH40K galaxy, theres a splinter scrin faction, who traveled there.

Lots of killing, is the only thing known for sure. LOTS, of killing.

with regards to the edges, perhaps brighten them a bit? Dunno. No idea on how to make them glow, except light bulbs.
