Comments (Note: all maps were submitted to judges anonymously to avoid biased reviews, so the judges had no idea of who submitted the map):
-> The_DvD:
Map Layout: 6 The layout is sufficient but not great.. four bases in a corner and tiberium pit in the middle...and the base on the bottomright is on a cliff which makes defending easier..and there's a bad error with the bridge, unit act a bit like it a tunnel there :S
Eye-Candy: 7 Well the tiberium pit looks very good, and the whole map has a nice red glow, but the 'forest' lighting areas are too large for the 'forest' itself which is a few trees. Really this map was made by a good mapper but i get the idea he ran out of ideas a bit while trying to fill up all the space.
Playability: 7 There is plenty tiberium and the layout is quite simple so AI will be strong. There isn't really much to say apart from that..
Triggers: 0 No triggers.
Overall: 60%
-> dEw_MaN:
Map Layout: 10/10 Map was laid out most exellently.
Eye-Candy: 10/10 Map was full of detail. Lighting was laid out perfectly for each area of the map. A pit was added full of tiberium creatures and viens.
Playability: 8/10 Each player had plenty of room to build and attack, however they wern't all equal and some were more vulnerable than others.
Triggers: 0/10 No triggers.
-> Froggy:
Layout: 8
Eye Candy: 9
Playability: 9
Triggers: 0 {Avarage of DVD's and dEw_MaN's}
Overall: 9

FS Primeval (2-4) By Clazzy
Story: Towards the end of the First Tiberium War, GDI and Nod sought after this area rich in tiberium, nicknamed the Primordial Soup. Although risky to harvest, due to the extreme toxicity of the area and the presence of various tiberium lifeforms, the two sides found a way to enrich their income through this area. At the end of the war, the area was abandoned and left to grow freely.
By 2031, the tiberium had grown into what was named a 'Genesis Pit', an area brimming with tiberium life. The civilian population had long gone, leaving the remnants of a once-bustling city. Once again, GDI and Nod return to this area, in a vain hope to reclaim the land and tame if for their faction. This may prove difficult, as the creatures will not release their hold on this realm so easily.
Anyway, this map was just a bit of fun. To be honest, I don't expect it to win the competition, but I am happy with how it came out. It's made me want to start mapping again!

That map is really cool.
Good job, clazzy.
Too bad the tiberium fiends stick out of the tiberium, though. :\ _________________ Tiberian Station
