Linking Maps together for losing and winning
is it possible that you can link several sp maps together to where if you lose the first one it will take you to another, and if you win the first one it will take you to a diff one? _________________ Tiberian Sun Hidden Shadows Mod Leader and Overlord of PPM. no, that won't work. However i just thought of some tags in the maps' ini file that says what level should be the alternate next level... but i'm afraid it point to a map selection screen, not a map. QUICK_EDIT
Well I'm not goin into the General Superiority of starcraft, over CNC. (CNC is good for modding, but starcraft is still better IMO) But this isn't starcraft so we are bound to the restrictions of the CNC engine. _________________

i have an idea gdi mission 9 of original ts had a bonus level right? look into that map and see if it also can be done if you lose you go to a "bonus" level _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT
im sure you can link maps for losing and wining etc
using these tags for the map
NextScenario=
AltNextScenario=
NextScenario is for campaign, and its fairly self-explanitory. This is the map after u complete this map
AltNextScenario= Im sure this can be called for through map triggers, for example if u complete a objective u will be taken to this map instead of the "NextScenario" This could also be made so that if u FAIL an objective u are taken to this one. This was in TS for special secret missions i think, which they decided not to include (although i seen in a WW chatlog before TS was released that they where going to have secret missions)

oh yes turalyon, you're right. Well venom you might wanna look into the ini code of that map, and see how it determines what map to play when ghostalker enters the train. QUICK_EDIT

yes, battle.ini to add your campaign and mapsel.ini for mission linking... Firestorm needs has its respective files for that too (with fs in the name) _________________

yeah i've been editing the mapsel.ini and the battle.ini(no longer need to do this one) and mission.ini . unfortunately every forum i go to i have to explain my problem of the cd's. but once i get me schedule i should be getting enough to either buy a new cd-rom or just up and replace the whole comp(the one i have now is soooo slow). anyway, have fun DvD _________________ Tiberian Sun Hidden Shadows Mod Leader and Overlord of PPM.
