When I load Final Sun using my mods settings one of the tree's appear miscolored as if its using the wrong palette. I haven't touched the tree's or palettes in anyway and when I play the game the tree looks fine.....

a) check your inis again. maybe you have one that is read by finalsun only and thus makes finalsun to use a different palette.

b) ignore it. who cares how FS shows it, if it's ingame correct Wink

c) check the compression of the SHP. there are situations where FS doesn't show an SHP correct, though it's usually Overlays and then they don't show at all (you only see the hex number in FS)

you can also view the tree in SHP Builder, go through the palettes and try to find the one that FS uses. This may help you to narrow down which and why the palette is used.

How am I able to load my mods settings into Finalsun so I can use the new trees and units in my maps?

Do you have set FileSearchLikeTS=yes in FinalSun.ini?

Do you have TS installed and your mod in a separate folder? FinalSun first reads the registry and tries to find TS this way. If you have TS installed and your mod in a different folder, then FinalSun will ignore your mod. You have to hex-edit the FinalSun.exe so it stops searching the registry for TS. Then set the path to your mod in FinalSun.ini. (or deinstall TS, so there is no registry crap and finalsun is using the path from the ini too)

Do you hex-edited the game.exe so the game uses mix/ini files with a different name? Then FinalSun can't find the mix too.

Write some infos what you've actually done and what isn't working. A simple "my mod isn't working in FinalSun" is not really helpful.
Usually FinalSun automatically finds new stuff, as it reads the same mix files and rules.ini as the game.

You may need to edit TreeLimit in FSData.ini, not sure what it is set to, but it could be the reason your trees are not appearing.

Are they just not appearing, or also not selectable in FS?

Actually the tree apeared but the color was messed up, I found I had the tree file extracted to a different location and it was using that instead of the original in tibsun.mix
