CCCIII: Paradise Battle [2]
LordCesare's entry: 2nd Place

Detail: Definitely my favourite of all of your submissions. A very impressive amount of work and detailing has clearly gone into this map, there is very little that I have to complain about (shock horror). Only complaints would be the symetrical shores and the odd area that has straight shores. Overall, brilliant job!

9/10

Layout: Brilliant layout, many choke points, attack routes and tactical opportunities present themselves here. I do however think that due-to the maps very large size, it could have benefited from additional players. The map is rather large for 2 players, but that doesn't change the fact that the map has a great layout. Good work.

9/10

Lighting: The global lighting is average and appears to be nothing special, however, I like how it fits almost perfectly with the rest of the YR and RA2 maps. The light posts around the ore fields are excellent, not too blocky and not too bright. A well executed day/night loop trigger has also added much more to the lighting score.

8/10

Gameplay: Excellent gameplay, but I can't help but think that it would benefit so much more from some additional player locations. Even if they are placed right next to each other. There isn't much more to say, the map plays really well, but would play much better with more players.

7/10

Triggers/Effects: Some nice triggers added here and there, most notably a day and night loop trigger. Civilian activity around the map also helps to create a very good atmosphere. Creative triggers and additions to the atmosphere boost your score. If only you'd have added some atmospheric sounds for a perfect 10.

8/10

Overall - 41/50

Probably the best map I have seen you produce in the time I have known you. The detailing and layout is excellent and overall there is very little to fault about this map. The biggest and only real problem is that because the map is so large, it would really benefit from additional players, I can't stress that enough! But never-the-less, brilliant map and you did a brilliant job.
