Civilian Voxel: DC-3 airplane
It has no spinning rotors, or landing gear, and needs some normals touchups on the fuselage... so in that sense, it's not actually finished.
That said, I think someone could easily delete the rotors and draw rings as if they are spinning and use it to fly over as a spy plane or some kind of light paradrop plane.
My ultimate goal is to make it sit on an airport and do nothing, which means mine forks from here...
Enjoy...
#airplane #transport #civilian (am I doing this right?)
The nose is to long & the horizontal tail to small, but good effort none the less.
Technically, there's a lot "wrong" with it, then again, there were almost as many variants as there are snowflakes haha
- engines are too big, and too far apart
- fuselage ahead of wing is too long
- tail is entirely too small
- wingspan is too small
- nose is too pointy
- "forehead" above the cabin is too big
- windshield setup is too large and too modern
However, I tweaked all these things until it looked natural. The small wingspan needed a smaller tail to appear balanced, the engines had to be upsized to distract from the chunky wings, etc.
