Here's my second voxel ... the Nod Gatling Tank :

Details at momox.de.ms.

I'm planning to do a new voxel for GDI, a tank with a long range railgun ... I'll post it when I'm ready, stay tuned ...

momoX, would you be interested in making voxels for PPM: Final Dawn? (forums are located at the top of the TS mod section) We don't have much publically shown though. We finished up the TDL voxels basically for the campaign but I'd love to have your creativity on board when we start the cyborg voxels. If your interested reply here or catch me on MSN - sk8wild101 AT hotmail.com (reaplace the AT with @ and no spaces)

EDIT:
Quote:
I experienced that it'll makes big lags if you build more than 10 of them. Seems like the voxel size is to big. Anyway, my PC is fast enough to handle that so it's still playable. If somebody has a tip how to keep the size of voxels low may contact me right away!

Try using VXLSE III (or whatever voxel editor you use) to remove redundant voxels. Your models may be filled on the inside with color and that is pointless and can slow down the speed a bit.

thanks all Smile

i just made them in 3ds max and converted them with the 3DS2VXL frontend ... then i recolored them in VXL SE III, removed redundant voxels, applied auto normals and apllied smooth normals. that's it, nothing 'professional' Very Happy.

Sk8erkid : that sounds like fun, but unfortunately i don't now anything about section editing and animating voxels. my voxels only consist of the pure body (and turret (and barrel)). if you're still interested, you can add me in msn, momox555 at hotmail dot com.
