--This map is based on the East/West German Border. Thick forests allow for infantry movement, and for nice ambushes. Scattered tents can be found around the area, as well as a wrecked jeep(right now a damaged Jeep). The terrain is great for tanks, but will require deforesting to allow this to be true. It should be noted that the tents can filled with rocket armed infantry to cause significant damage to armored units and infantry alike. Air support is limited, due to lack of space to build large airfields.

Helicopters perform decent on this map, but due to the openness of the terrain, they are not mandated. Best use of them would to harass infantry formations and artillery pieces, but not tanks.

Artillery poses a massive threat in this map. Katyushas, Priests and other artillery pieces can clear foliage that could used for concealing infantry and can hide among the trees, making them harder to spot and kill.

Terrain harshly limits the invaders ability to construct, but he will find himself presented with much of the valuable resources on the map, along with premade defensive positions set up by lead elements of their forces. Wiping out foliage around the area can open up the area to build more, but the player may find a mobile defense to be better than a stationary one. The defenders building terrain is vast and open, and less valuable resources are abundant. Once these expire, it is a dangerous trek to the other areas of the map that have caches of resources.

Tips:
The invader should concentrate on building up his forces, and not his base. The best defense is a good offense. AA guns are the only neccessity when it comes to stationary defenses.

The defender should not get too comfortable with his initial abundance of resources and building area- you have a larger area to defend, and your capacity to build defenses is limited, just as your enemies is. You may want to consider building a smaller base, as you will not need as big a defensive perimeter.

Yep, I just got in a crate, while scouting out the map for the enemy with 2 jeeps..They stumbled upon a BTR-50 and a T-34...Neither made it out.

Looks like a very nice map, I like when you actualy made a real looking forest there, not just trees here and there...

Well, when the artillery rounds start falling and when explosives come into play, the forest most likely will shrink. You may end up destroying parts of the forest to get build in areas that you could not normally build in.(especially invading player in the West)

Just one suggestion - why not make all infantry invisible on radar? It is realistic Smile

And the map owns. Good job EVA.
