Light blue Tiberium is an original idea, unlike Red tib which has been used nearly every TS mod.

I wouldn't call a colour an original idea.. many mods use light blue as well. i guess making it invisible would be original.

btw, Aboreus IS red now that i'm thinking of it. Check the concept arts.

Exactly.. i was waiting for somebody to note it... i study Latin you know..

Now you need red fona's... you'll need an edited ISOTEM.pal for that however.. the current one only has only orange and red orso.

So how does Aboreus compare to Vinifera in TSR? In TS they have the exact same properties, so I'm just curious. I use Aboreus as a means of annoyance rather than an economic solution. It spreads very fast and is hardly worth anything at all. One of the many things I do just to piss people off Smile
By the way, has anyone tried silver tiberium? I wonder what it looks like.

pft1086 the values are as follow

Green (Riparius) =$25 per bail
Blue (Cruentus) =$50 per bail
Red (Aboreus) =$100 per bail

and it has been decided, Aboreus is now red and looks great with its new image too, ill post a screenie if you want it

I have been playing 1.22 beta online alot with Red Tiberium, works great

Wow... does this mean that a harvester full of Riparius gives u only 500 credits? cuz original value is 35 (gives 700). In TSTW i use this:

Riparius value=50 (gives 1000)
Vinifera value=75 (gives 1500)
Aboreus value=100 (gives 2000)

I'm using Aboreus a lot in my maps. It's good for variation in lighting (i add red lighting to Aboreus patches)

no dvd, the original value is 25.

And with the amount of money that your values give, it allows you to super quickly spew out tons of units and complete the tech tree in no time.

I have tested with higher values and its ridiculous, tottaly undermines many aspects of gameplay and makes the game unbalanced.

However im sure its fitting in TSTW but certainly not for TSR (based on experience pre 1.0)
screenie comming soon

Lol not in TSTW those tech trees are horribly expensive. #Tongue Same with units, though the extra cash helps(Along with the enhanced harvester.)

Uh smiff. in original TS, the harvester carries 20 bails. 20x$25=500. I'm pretty sure it was 700 for one full load, so it's gotta be $35

And yes TSTW is much faster paced than TSR. TSR is slower than standard TS...TSTW is much faster. Damage is also increased and such... i like that, it's more realistic IMO. Increased build times and more money also make superweapons less effective.

im not quite sure what dvd is talking about they where EXACTLY the same as in TSR 1.1 and 1.2 and 1.21

when i said ive tested it, i did state PRE-1.0
and i did not publically release any pre 1.0 versions of TSR, so there is no way dvd could have played any version of TSR with higher values of tiberium unless he edited them himself ?

so dvd if you think the 1.0 tiberium values are outragously high, then you must think that the values in 1.2 are. and they are the same as the standard TS values (except with new Red Tiberium), so you must think standard TS values are outrageous too ??? Confused

if you have any problems with any admin from TiberiumSun.com forums for being banned:

DO:

- Send a PM, email or contact him at an IM program

DON'T DO:

- create a new topic or post in a currently existing topic about it.
- post this in public forums, as it tends to generate flames.

This is a problem between you and him. TS Retro has absolutelly NOTHING to do with it.

You need to search for red coloured tiberium by playing each new map, or you can try to check if your final sun shows them red or some other colour than green or blue...with me, they mix up, red tiberium has the same colour as green tiberium.

Actually, Red Tiberium normally uses the same values/color of blue tiberium ingame, yet appears on a lot of TS maps in blue pits. Its rare, yet there.

that is because you are running your monitor in 16 bit color. change it to 32 bit and it will display properly

yah I noticed that when I enabled red tib in a private mod of mine a while ago. out of nostagia I played the grand canyon map and in the center of the blue field next to the gas station was a larg area of red tib. also in a slot canyon twords the bottom of the map all the red tib there had become blue. I guess WW did this on a few maps to keep us on our toes

No, they simply didn't go for the completely different 3rd type of Tiberium, but as the coding was already implemented, they just simply cloned Vinifera, but I think with reduced spread.

As a result, you'll see it in quite a few WW maps, usually found in the middle of blue fields, or just completely seperate.
