Twisted Insurrection is up for Nomination as Mod of the Year 2012. On the behalf of the team, I apology for not promoting this earlier. Voting for MotY has been going on for close to a month now, and only 7 days and a few hours remain of the countdown! Help us get to the Top 100, and from there - maybe even reach the title of

Here's a short recap of our past MotY success:
In 2009, Twisted Insurrection was nominated in the Top 100 Upcoming Mods.
In 2010, we released Public Beta 1, and Twisted Insurrection reached the Top 100 Released Mod Nominees.
In 2011, Twisted Insurrection was voted to the Top 100 Released Mods.

This year, we have released the long-awaited Public Beta 4, and while activity may seem to have slowed down since, we assure you that Twisted Insurrection has gone nowhere but forward! In addition, if you are a good boy/girl and help us reach the Top once more, expect a very merry Christmas present from us (as has been a tradition)!

Without further a-do, hurry up and go to this link, scroll down and vote!

Remember that you can vote for more than one Mod for Mod of the Year, released or not, so be sure to check out our affiliate pages as well!

Mental Omega, Project Phantom, Robot Storm, Dawn of the Tiberium Age and D-Day.

Hey guys, I hope you all vote for TI and all other projects hosted here at Project Perfect Mod. I'm just not moving this post to the site news forum because it doesn't cover the other hostees. I'm also not a big fan of MoTY, since the editors from ModDB doesn't seem to be aware that RTS games are actually moddable and many good mods were created since them. They only vote for FPS mods.

No V3 OST release to set up Stalkers as my alarm song, no scrappack...

While I can respect your mod and I really respect all the work into it, the fact that the result relies heavily on the reasons why I hate TS... I can't vote for that.

I'm pretty certain that's not even close to true.

Indeed. Generals mods receive plenty of attention. We're just outdated. #Tongue

What were those reasons again, if you don't mind my curiosity?

Terrain is too dark, Overusage of Effects, Tiny Infantry, Wrong "Shadows" on Infantry is what he said before I think?

For me... Idk I'm just voting for all the Mods that are hosted in PPM to bring in more publicity to PPM. Laughing

Yet you can't deny that the amount of downloads and watchers in comparison to other outdated mods is impressive for both of us. #Tongue

Oversized explosions which are just the same explosion in 4-8 sizes, forest fire, darkness... I don't really mind infantry size in TS because everything is smaller, but the fact that a simple grenade blast is bigger than the infantry it hit and I can't even see them during that is just... not amusing for me.

Too bad, those are some of my favorite traits.
