Does anyone like the movies Alien and Aliens?

Now that Disney owns 20th century Fox, I wonder what they are going to do with the franchise.

Disney: buying and most likely ruining your childhood since day 1.

Fun fact: apparently Max Fleisher was the one who brought animation to life as cartoons back in the day, but Disney had the money to shush the press about that.

Disney was a bringer of great enjoyment in my childhood, you know. They were a massive part of my childhood entertainment. Like Robin Hood. The Aristocats. Toy Story. All kinds of things I enjoyed thoroughly. Blanket statements are silly...

They've done a stellar job with the Marvel franchise and even the new Star Wars movies have been excellent. Ruining things? eh, I'd say no.

I mean...if they can do better than Alien Resurrection then that's all that really matters. That being said...while the new series of Prometheus and Alien Covenant were interesting...they weren't all that great beyond just going into the evolution and origins of the aliens. I'd even go as far as to say that Alien Covenant was actually quite disappointing and too predictable and lacked in terms of exploration of the setting in it.

I'll hold high hopes that any plans Disney might develop with the Alien franchise end up being good. Just like I still have hope that the new Predator movie will turn out to be good despite my premonitions of it being quite lame.
