I managed to recover system back (2 days before) so, I didn't lose anything but all the things I changed in last 2 days ! I know, it is my mistake not to put them in a mix file, but my works didn't finished yet.And finally I can say that, this is not the first time my rulesmd.ini file dissappears. Some months ago,it had occured again. I don't know what causes this? Do you have any idea? Did it happen to you at least once ?  Rolling Eyes

It could be user permission, log in as Admin. Or use show hidden files setting in Explorer.

I did.Even with show hidden files,it didn't appear.Both artmd. and  rulesmd.ini
files appeared after I recovered system a backward point. No problem for now.But it is strange.I tried to enter the game, every changes I had done worked perfect, but after I checked again, they were not in the game directory. They are there (artmd and rulesmd.ini.) , but nobody can see them because they were invisible as never been existed. It happened before only rulesmd .ini before...And now, rules with artmd.ini,too... Strangely; soundmd.ini, uimd.ini,aimd.iniand evamd.ini  e.t.c. was there...only those two
disappeared. Sad But now, everything seems to be OK !  Smile

I'm pretty sure system restore doesn't recover your personal files like that. By the sound of it, I think your ini files may have been flagged as system files for some reason.

Next time this happens, see if you can open the file from the address bar (by typing rulesmd.ini in the address bar while in the game directory). If it opens, it's definitely there.

There are two levels of 'hidden files' in Windows - regular hidden files, and protected system files. see the image below on how to show system files:

If your ini files got turned into system files for some reason, you'll have to remove that attribute from them in cmd using the ATTRIB command.
