How to add a special symbol to CSF files?

Hi everyone!
I've tried to add a symbol into the game for the Phobos' Harvester Counter feature, but XCCMixer string editor often crashes and doesn't show the symbol correctly. I've also tried to put the symbol after the flag "NOSTR: " but it doesn't work.
Any ways I can do to successfully add new symbols to the game?

You need to edit the game.fnt font file to add new symbols.
