Learn how to make normals for voxels.

Dear Sirs, I want to make some voxels for my mod, but I don't know how to make normals and I don't know where to look for information about this, and I also don't have time to try and figure it out. Could you help me understand how to make them? Thank you.

The voxel forum is for posting voxel files that you have made, questions should go in the Editing forum.

VXLSE has an auto-normals tool that can apply normals to your voxels in a few clicks.

VXLSE auto-normals is a tool, using it requires understanding how it works. Us veteran voxel artists all have years of experience tweaking the settings and even applying those settings selectively.

In addition, how you paint your voxels also affects how the normals will make it look, normals are just "shine" direction, but if the expected shine locations don't match up with the shape or colour, it will look bad.
