Not only do they act as shelter and training grounds for forgotten warriors, they also house large numbers of forgotten civilians to keep them out of harms way. Only small part of these buildings is visible on the ground, while most of the facilities are located in tunnels dug underneath them. A barracks is needed to train forgotten infantry.
