Since Release 7 is pretty close I've started to think about the possible future of this mod, more specifically a 3rd faction.

As madin has often stated, there is no chance of a Yuri faction being introduced as he doesn't like it, but what about an almost completely remade Empire(Japan)?

The faction itself could be a tribute to one of Madin's oldest mods called Madin's Mix Mods where the factions are GDI+Allied and Nod+Soviet. In a certain sense, the Japan faction would be RA3 EotRS + GDI + Nod + Scrin(1 element) mix.

In order to make it more serious, I'd suggest a slight retexture of all EotRS assets from Red Alert 3 as in that game, they look a little plastic. 2-3 metal layers with the proper blending in Photoshop would do. GDI/Nod vehicles will also be retextured in "EotRS Style" (see Type-1 Ho-Ha and Shinden Interceptor by Black_Drakon to see what I mean).

I've conceived the units, and very roughly, the buildings.

Dojo -  Instant Dojo from Red Alert 3. Trains:
Imperial Warrior Squad
Tankbusters - Similar look to RA3 ones but instead of plasma cutters have Anti-Tank rifles (use sniper animations).
Engineer
Shinobi Team - Same body model as RA3 but use Shadow Team animations. They cannot glide but can place charges and artillery beacon (for Waveforce Mk.I).
Jump Jet Infantry
(Commando Unit - no idea here)

Vehicle Assembly - RA3 Mecha Bay. Can be individually upgraded with Repair Drones. Trains:
Ore Collector from Red
Alert 3
Kawasaki Ninja - Nod Recon bike, Retextured in EotRS style.
Type-1 "Ho-Ha" - Armored Personnel Carrier. Black_Drakon has the model for Project-X.
Tsunami Tank - from Red Alert 3.
Kappa MLRS - GDI Hover MLRS retextured in EotRS style. Short-Range Artillery function. Can also attack air. Available after Communications Center has been built.
Oni Battle Mech - GDI Titan, retextured in EotRS style. Available after Communications Center has been built.
Nanodeflectors - Technically Scrin Buzzers but with blue glow(like RA3 nanodeflectors of Tsunami Tank). You can attach them at any vehicle to increase its armor. Can also repair vehicles where they're attached. Available after Nanotech Mainframe has been built.
Waveforce Mk.I - Nod Artillery from Tiberian History (Tiberian Sun) retextured in EotRS style. Long Range Artillery. Available after Nanotech Mainframe has been built. Can also bombard at Artillery Beacon put by Shinobi Team.
Disruptor - GDI Disruptor retextured in EotRS style. Can switch to Missile Jammer mode - does not attack but disrupts missiles like Psychic Station. Available after Nanotech Mainframe has been built.

VTOL Pad - GDI Orca Pad from Tiberium History retextured. retextured. Can be upgraded with aircraft repair drones.
Orca VTOL - GDI Orca retextured in EotRS style. The EotRS version of an attack helicopter. Good vs both Infantry & Vehicles. Can't attack aircraft.
Black Eagle - Available after Nanotech Mainframe has been built. Can switch between x6 Anti-Air and x8 Anti-Ground missiles.
Shinden Interceptor - Call through Support Power like P51J or Yak. Can only attack air with their machine gun or kamikaze-strike a ground target through special power(good vs vehicles & buildings). Model by Black_Drakon[/b]

Other Buildings:
-Power Generator - EotRS Instant Generator. Retextured so that it's not entirely in metal plating like RA3. Power upgrade through tech researched at Nanotech Mainframe.
-Communications Center - Enables radar and contains upgrade for Kappa MLRS and Aircraft.
-Armory (GDI armory retextured in EotRS style) - contains weapons upgrades for infantry units.
-Nanotech Mainframe - advanced technology building. Contains upgrades for vehicles and Power Generator.

A nice detailed post, although this is unlikely to happen, it is still good to have this post here for reference.
