Someone already did that?
So I don't want to rely on their inside player to listen.

Get OS BIG Editor, open MUSIC.MEG in the Data folder of your C&C Remaster installation, drag and drop the music from the MEG to somewhere on your PC.

Musics uses WAV format (MS ADPCM Stereo 16 bits 44100 Hz), according to VLC Media Player and one of the musics extracted from it.

Note that OS BIG Editor can save .MEG files, but I am not aware exactly how musics are repackaged yet, because I've been focused on other things.

If somebody knows, please, post a tutorial at the Tutorials Uplink. This place needs tutorials and so far people are being too shy to share them.

I would, but I don't have the first clue how to mod the remasters myself. Still waiting on a "Add custom music" tutorial so that I can add Frank Klepacki's TI remixes.

As soon as i get it, i'll try to make a little tutorial,
keep in touch !

Found in CONFIG.MEG the file :

DATA/XML/AUDIO/MUSICEVENTS.XML

It seems to define wich wav file is used, when, in a playlist or not...

I can recompile a MUSIC.MEG file, but steam dont like when i change it, so i have to figure out how add it into a mod file

I try to make a first mod to add a song and keep u in touch

Ok i managed to change the "credits" music in option,
i uploaded it ( invisible for the moment ) on steam and its working.

I just had to edit MUSICEVENTS.XML to add the name of my file,
wich i put in DATA/AUDIO/MUSIC/

Its working perfectly, by just putting my wav file in this folder.

Sample of the XML mofdified file :

<?xml version="1.0"?>

<MusicEvents>

<MusicEvent Name="TIBERIAN_DAWN_CREDITS_MUSIC">
<PlayList>
<Entry> TDB_MUS_BASS_TEMPERATURE.WAV </Entry>
</PlayList>
<VolumePercent> 50 </VolumePercent>
<FadeInSeconds> 0.0 </FadeInSeconds>
<ContinueLastSample> No </ContinueLastSample>
<ContinueLastSampleThreshold> 0.75 </ContinueLastSampleThreshold>
<FadeOutPrevSeconds> 1.0 </FadeOutPrevSeconds>
<GapDelayMinSeconds> 5.0 </GapDelayMinSeconds>
<GapDelayMaxSeconds> 5.0 </GapDelayMaxSeconds>
<LoopInfinitely> No </LoopInfinitely>
<RandomizePlayList> False </RandomizePlayList>
</MusicEvent>

I just changed the original filename by my High tone wav track

I will make a small tutorial on the forum in a few days Smile
