I don't think so, but it should work with firestorm, banshee will give one of his famous answers by tonight. (I think) _________________ Formerly active PPM modder (maps, voxels, sprites) and Webmaster of C&C Central in the early 2000's on the Origin/Revora network. QUICK_EDIT

The SSM launcher is based on the Tiberian Dawn's. So, it will act very similarly to that one.
As for Drop Pods, the light infantry which leaves that are weak, but once spied... orca bombers are the problematic consequence... I think it shouldn't be fired in shroud, but Westwood didnt seems to view things in this way ... QUICK_EDIT
Yeah thats one of the things that piss me off the most. Your playing a long good game on WOL, and the enemy havent seen your base yet... Then boom! Drop pods are released in the middle of the base and your fucked! And I never really build defense in the middle of my base, but only on the outside. _________________
What ALWAYS ticked me off was maps with one enterance. You brigade that entrance from the start to destroy anything that even attempts to scout you. When 20 Minutes in the game, all the sudden these drop pods drop off in the BACK of your base where the tiberium field is. Well, most maps have blue tiberium so if you shoot the guys, you blow out the whole field, but if you dont, they end up running into your base after they've scouted up and down and everywhere they can in the tiberium. Of course you dont bother putting defense up back there because your so busy putting up sams and other stuff to stop people from rally scouting you. There is just no way to stop drop pod scouts; which is why ALL my maps do not allow you to build them. QUICK_EDIT
lol...am i the one person that knew doug does this? i always remembered that bout dougs maps. he took out drop pods lol
but i totally agree with that, i dont like drop pods, the only thing i like them for is defense, u just keep shooting them in your own base so eventually if u need emp, ull have a bunch of infantry to take on the units QUICK_EDIT
yeah, me too, i don't like the rush bomber, a friend attack my base with more than twenty orca bomber ! it's disgusting ...
If you are gdi you have a little chance (luck) to active the firestorm defense outside your base but if you are nod ... the missile Sam will be not useful...
I don't like some games where the ennemis protect his base with a lot of artillery ... QUICK_EDIT
Personally I'm all about fairness in my maps and IMO the drop pods give GDI an unbelieveable advantage as there is simply no counter for them. The few times I've added mod units to a map, I've always given the other side a defense for them as well as something else to attack back with but also have a defense against those.
lol, I remember on some maps how I made it so aircraft and subterranean units could not map terrain at all. Most people hated those maps as they couldnt cheat with their rally scout QUICK_EDIT
1st of all its not $1, second, its not a waste of money! I remember back in the day I traded some guy on the net Tiberian Sun and Firestorm for my Game Boy Color on the internet. I think it was a fair trade, but this was when Tiberian Sun and Firestorm were exspensive. _________________
Well theirs a 110% chance that it was a (No Reserve Met) item. Which means that if the item doesnt go high enough in money for the seller to be pleased he wont sell it. No one really bids on (No Reserve Met) items. but if its (No Reserve) than whatever price the item is at at the end of the auction, he has to sell it for that price. _________________
sorry b out my spelling, i type to fast fo rmy own good, and wot i meant ism in my opinion, nod had a advantage over gdi in ts cos they had artlieeryy, and could get gdi, without gdi realising it, untill they started atacking, but fs gdi got they own type of artlierry, the juggernaughts, whichs r v good if u get liek 10 of em _________________
Juggernauts are no way as good as the Nod artillery though. Yes, they fire a burst of three but those three rounds spread out so much that even if the target is slow/not moving you're not going to do much damage. QUICK_EDIT
